When tickets for Fleabag went on sale in early May, they were hotter than a certain priest, and sold out within minutes.
But good news if you missed out — there’s still a chance to get hold of the coveted tickets and see writer-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the stage show (reportedly for the final time) at Wyndham’s Theatre in August and September. Here are your options:
Fleabag day ticket lottery at Wyndham’s Theatre
Every day, a ticket lottery will take place at Wyndham’s Theatre offering up 33 tickets at £20 each. Final details on the logistics of the ticket lottery have yet to be announced, but we do know that entries will be limited to one per person, with each winner able to buy up to two tickets — and you’ll need to be present at the theatre when the draw takes place. Keep an eye on the website for further information.
Fleabag standing day seats at Wyndham’s Theatre
Don’t fancy your chances in the lottery? 33 standing tickets costing £10 each will be available for each performance. They’ll be sold on a first come, first served basis on the day of the show, from 10am at the theatre box office. That’s Wyndham’s Theatre on Charing Cross Road, NOT Soho Theatre.
(The former is where this show takes place — presumably because it has a larger capacity — while the latter is the home of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s theatre company DryWrite, so was involved in the development of the show).
They’re sold from 10am, but don’t amble up at 9.55 and expect to be in with a chance — queues are likely to form early.
